Taking Down The Thunder
Formed in 2006, All Forlorn is a South African metal band based in Johannesburg. Through maintaining a relentless gigging schedule they have enjoyed the pleasure of playing countless live shows across and outside the country.
With their newest album release "Taking Down The Thunder" All Forlorn have secured their spot as one of the leading innovators in the South African extreme metal scene. Adding to the previously released E.P "Dizzy Blank Dead", they have taken a quantum leap up the evolutionary metal scale. "Taking Down The Thunder" is simultaneously brutal, melodic, technically complex, yet instantly accessible.
All Forlorn is the culmination of enormous talent, creativity and originality in equal measure. All Forlorn consists of Thomas Hughes (drums), Craig Mackinnon (guitars), Marc Junius (bass), Brandon Van Os (guitars) and Wade Sadler (vox). They dedicate themselves wholeheartedly and work immensely hard to achieve their musical goals and ambitions. They have played the main stage at the majority of Southern Africa's biggest festivals, to a rapidly growing fan base, who describe the band as one of the best South Africa has to offer the world.
All Forlorn's incredible live performances, fueled with passion, contagious energy and a no compromise attitude, have shot them to center stage. Thus crowning them one of the most sought after, most driven and hardworking young bands in South African metal to date. Having secured endorsements from Jagermeister Music(SA) Dean and Schecter guitars, as well as technical and gear support by Music Connection, All Forlorn have arrived at a level of professional dedication to their craft without limitations.
