The above was an email we received from Chaplain Ballenger at the Michigan Reformatory. I thought this would certainly be an encouragement to you and the group. We don't usually get feedback from the chaplains unless they were really blessed and it certainly sounds like Chaplain Ballenger and the men were certainly blessed by your ministry.

All For One takes top honors

The Livingston County-based contemporary Christian band All For One recently won top honors at the 2007 Detroit Music Awards, in the Outstanding Gospel/Christian Songwriter category.
The award comes following the release of their debut CD, "One Way Home," which is currently receiving airplay both nationally and internationally.


All For One consists of Cheryl Wilson of Howell, Nick Steudle of Howell, Steve Goddard of Brighton, Jerry Reams of Pinckney, Andrew Orstadius of Farmington, and the band's newest addition, Matt Renko of Howell.


"Being nominated in four categories and included with such talented people was really exciting for us," Steudle said. "It was almost surreal when they called our names."
All for One leads the worship service on the the third Sunday of every month at the Chilson Hills Church in Brighton. More information is available at www.all4onemusic.net.

For the 'sound' of our station, which is basically Praise and Worship and Inspirational type stuff, these are the cuts I've added - One Way Home, Directions, your version of You Are My All In All (I like this upbeat version), Emmanuel, (wow! my favorite of the entire CD! beautiful!), and Truth About Me.

I really like your version of Johnny Nash's I Can See Clearly Now, and the last track, I Live For You has a great sound too, but I will spin them in my car :)

11/29/06 ALL FOR ONE'S song "Emmanuel" receives radio play. The song has been added to the playlists of a few Christian Radio stations including 99.7 FM WUGN Family Life Radio Midland, Michigan and KTLF Light Praise in Colorado Springs, CO. It has been getting many requests...and not from people we've told to call in!!! We just got word it has also been added to our local non-Christian radio station WHMI 93.5 and they will be contacting us to set up an in studio interview. God is so Good and absolutely amazing!!!

Andrew's Toybox is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to providing special care packages filled with toys, crafts & books to children with life-threatening or chronic illness. Our mission is simply to provide smiles to the faces of sick children! We feel these children deserve all of the special treatment they can get!

When families are faced with dealing with the daily battles of the child’s illness, it is easy to feel isolated and without hope. Receiving a toy package from Andrew's Toybox helps the caretakers and the children know they are not alone.

Oftentimes because of expensive medical bills and equipment costs, caretakers can’t afford to provide the special toys needed for their children to enjoy. Taking care of a seriously ill child is many times very intense and requires around the clock care, whether it is in the home or in the hospital. Because of this, it is difficult for them to find the time or the resources to shop for the little things that may bring a twinkle to the child’s eyes.

We also hope to provide a fun diversion from a long, gloomy hospital stay for the kids. For example, a typical package for an older child includes books, drawing pad & pens, craft kits, headphones & relaxing music CDs, magazines, or books on tape. We believe it can help make a positive impact on the child and offer a healthy outlet for anxiety or fear.
