The past two years have been an amazing journey for 22 year old Allison Bohmann. The young singer/songwriter from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada has been turning heads in the music world with her singles "Over the edge", "Living in a nightmare" and "Can you hear me". Allison released her first EP at the age of 17 and had great success in her hometown. The "Allie B." EP was released September 2009 and immediately caught the eye of legendary radio promoter, Bill Jerome. The two began working together and released "Over the edge" which reached #29 on the Top 30 AC/Hot AC Charts (NMW) and #45 on the Hot 100 Charts (NMW).
With the success of the first single, Allison headed back into the studio with producer and friend, Rich Mcfarlane. She came out with 3 radio ready singles and released "Living in a nightmare" in May 2010. It debuted at #75 on the Hot 100 Chart (NMW) and #26 on the indie top 30 chart (NMW). "Living in a nightmare" quickly made it on playlists all across the US. With the huge response to "Living in a nightmare" they released "Can you hear me" which debuted on the Hot 100 Chart (NMW) at #83. "Can you hear me" is currently #23 on the Hot 100 Chart (NMW) and #7 on the AC/Hot AC Top 20 Western U.S. Region Chart. Allison's also been nominated for New Top40 artist by New Music Weekly.
Allison Bohmann has been writing since the age of 9 and singing since she could talk. She has been compared to Avril Lavigne, the non country Taylor Swift, and Michelle Branch. With determination and hard work Allison is starting to catch the eye of the music industry and music fans all over the world. People from Australia, Tokyo, England, United States, Canada, Germany, Finland, and France are all enjoying Allison's music and are telling their friends about her.
