Allison Labs is Sarah Turvey, chanteuse and songwriter, and Jeremy Hicks electronic multi-instrumentalist. They record in a tiny home studio, in the wild frontier land of Western Australia’s Great Southern. Hailing from different hemispheres and radically different musical traditions, Jeremy’s krautrock influenced compositions experiment with electronic instrumentation, beats and drones and Sarah’s English folk roots infuse them with a macabre playfulness producing Allison Labs ultra-cool electro art rock. Influenced by Neu!, Brian Eno and Steeleye Span we’ll make you shake we’ll make you dance we’ll feed your head we’ll iron your pants. We want to make the records you’ll remember years later.
