Traffic In Boston

Written By: Allison Moore & Lauren Ketterer

Took a walk down Commonwealth beneath the city's lights and its unrelenting beat you looked so nice in the lamp post light, on the brown stone studded street. and we strolled the cobble stone on a road from strangers to friends, but we stepped too far and now here we are at the place where this road ends. Just take my hand and let's just say good night, please don't speak, I don't really want to fight. Everything is moving so slowly except for the lights of the traffic in Boston. I noticed right away that the sky had changed as we stepped outside my door. Youre standing right here and I feel more alone than I've ever felt before. It's funny the way this magical city plays dirty tricks with the mind. It's funny the way the world rushes by when you're standing still in time. But I knew this wasn't love that we had found, and I felt what could have been crashing to the ground, and everything is silent tonight, except for the sounds of the traffic in Boston. I don't need a long goodbye just please, go, I'm not going to cry. Just take my hand and let's just say goodnight, please don't speak, I don't really want to fight. Everything is moving so slowly except for the lights of the traffic in Boston.

Until the Stars Fade

Written By: Allison Moore & Lauren Ketterer

Awake all night underneath the silent moon, I'll be lying here thinking about you, watching till the sky turns from black to blue and the night melts into the morning dew, until the stars fade, until the stars fade away, there's no glory to the morning like the passion of the night. I love imagining your hand upon my door, and now I know what it is we're sent here for. I feel like now I'm living more than just being alive and I can almost see your face as I look into the sky, until the stars fade, until the stars fade away. There's no glory to the morning like the passion of the night. How can you leave me here with just the thought of you? Touching you and holding you are all I want to do, instead I watch the constellations receed into the blue and I wonder if somehow, somewhere, you are watching too. Until the stars fade, until the stars fade away there's no glory to the morning like the passtion of the night.
