Biography

Allison grew up with the rich heritage and natural ability in music that few people have, passed down from her family for more than four generations.

Allison began pursuing her love of music at the tender age of sixteen years old in her family church. In early 2009, Allison set out on a new musical journey when she teamed up with Littleton Music Group's Producers, Trey Gray, Mike Kyle and Neil Kyle to record her first album. Gray is an award winning drummer and talented producer who has worked with musical legends including Faith Hill, Jewel and Brooks & Dunn.

Though only being her freshman Country Music Project, from the open honesty and heartbreak in the track 'Words are Cheap', to the upbeat and catchy 'Superman', Allison Steel's talent is electrifying and her sound beautifully unique.

Allison has a big heart for the broken and hurting and has organized annual outreaches and events to raise money and collect items for the homeless in Nashville for over 6 years. (See "Music With A Mission")

V1
Won't you be my
Super Man, I'll
be your wonder woman
Star in all my
dreams at night
Save me from the villain
The enemy snuck
Up on me and
slipped krypto in my pockets
You hear me callin'
You're coming for me
Dodging bullets
Taming rockets

Chorus:
Baby, take me in your arms
We'll fly to the moon
I'm your biggest fan
We'll dance on the stars
Set rainbows in bloom
You're my super man
You're my super man

V2
Look at me I'm
stary eyed my
Heart is in a hurry
Don't see no man
No man but you my
Vision must be blury

Chorus:

What Love Is

I fell in love
On the merry-go-round
In second grade
When he stole a kiss
He was my prince
His baby blue eyes
Had me hypnotized

But life spins round and round
One minute you're up
The next you're down
He lost his crown
'Round sundown
I never knew true love
Boy I do now

Chorus:
I get lost in your touch
I don't want one single
Thread between us, baby
I just wanna drive you crazy

Vs. 2
Knew you were the one
In your flannel shirt
Under the hood of that Ford
Your eyes met mine
Our hearts aligned
I swear in that moment
God stopped the hands of time
He etched you in my soul
Boy you make me whole

Chorus:
I get lost in your touch
I don't want one single thread
Between us baby
I just wanna drive you crazy
I, I live for your kiss
I have never felt like this
Now I know
I know what love is

Tennessee Rain

I drove right past the place
Never noticed it was gone
Hurried in the house
On that cold September morn'
Just sat down in my chair
When the telephone rang
He said there'd been a fire
They lost everything

Chorus:
In the Tennessee rain, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
In the Tennessee rain, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh

Vs. 2
I pulled in his drive
He was down on his knees
After all these years he'd struggled
Just making ends meet
Then he raised his head to heaven
Tears rolling down his face
And thanked God above
For keeping them safe
I never felt that kinda pain
But right there in those ashes I changed

Chorus:
In the Tennessee rain, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
In the Tennessee rain, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh

Bridge:
Now there's a box on my front porch
From a family down the way
Oh, they don't have much
But they're giving just the same
I was livin' life's length
I forgot about it's width
Till that Tennessee rain came falling down

Tennessee rain, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh
Tennessee rain, Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh

Fairy Tales

I don't believe in Santa Clause
But I'm still a bit naive
I do believe in fairy tales
My prince charming
is coming for me
To take my breath away

10 years they've been married
Got together way too young
They weren't planning on a family
The baby came
She thought he must be the one
But in her heart she didn't feel it
Though she's always made it work
She's still dreaming of someone
Who takes her breath away
Take her breath away
Take her breath away
Take her breath away

I believe in fairy tales
I believe in fairy tales (x2)
I believe there's someone out there
who takes my breath away

Take my breath away
Take my breath away
Take my breath away

Daddy taught me how to shoot
In my Daisy Duke's
A God-fearin' woman
With a gun in my hand

Dancin' in my cotton dress
A gold cross on my chest
I'm a Southern Bell
That can take you straight to hell
If you go ta lyin' and a cheatin'
I'll get a wild disposition
And live ammunition

Singing sweet Amazing Grace
In ribbons and lace
A perfect angel
With a shot that's fatal
You went and lost at roulette
A lesson you won't soon forget
From Annie Oakley
In stilettos and fishnet
I'm sure I can confirm my intuition
With live ammunition

Bridge:
I know the Good Book says to forgive
I've lived that way as long as I've lived
It also says an eye for an eye
I'll be takin' it limb by limb
With live ammunition

Live ammunition....

Jimmy Plus Me

Jimmy Plus Me

Sippin on sweet tea
On Grandma's porch swing
Talkin bout them good ol' days
When a handshake meant more than a pen
That's how we were raised

That's just how we do it
We like to take life nice and slow
Crankin' Merle Haggard
On that Country Music Radio

Coon dog layin' down at my feet
As uncle Joe strums them strings
Singing along with my sister Dawn
She could sing anything

The creek bed is a calling
But Sunday morning's coming fast
When that Preacher's done a preachin
Boy we gonna take a chance

Chorus:
Gonna, grab Jimmy by his hand
Gonna run out hind that barn
Gonna kiss him right on the mouth
and love that boy till dawn
Then he'll carve out both our names
In that old oak tree
Love equals Jimmy plus me
Oh, yes it does

Verse 2
Going down to the hole
With my ol cane pole
In my torn cotton dress
Before he blinks
I'll jump right in and I'll have that boy a mess

We'll be skinny dippin
Till the sun goes down
We'll have our mama's prayin
We'll be the news in this ol town

Chorus:
Gonna, grab Jimmy by his hand
Gonna run out hind that barn
Gonna kiss him right on the mouth
and love that boy till dawn
Then he'll carve out both our names
In that old oak tree
Love equals Jimmy plus me
Oh, yes it does

Angel's Sing

I won't forget the way your smile
lights up a room
Keep your voice on my telephone
It always takes me home

Your love is all around
It's in everything I see
You are the very air I breath

Chorus:
I hear the sound
of Angel's Wings
We cry, Angel's sing

Verse 2
The light in your eyes
Always drew me in
You loved me so good
That's how it's always been

Shinning through the clouds
You're my sunshine in this rain
You always held me
through the pain

Chorus:
I hear the sound
of Angel wings
We cry, Angel's Sing

It's almost time
You're leaving me
We cry, Angel's Sing

It's almost time
You're leaving me
We cry, you sing......
