"CD full of solid rock and roll"

"All of the Above are purveyors of relaxed, acoustic-based, music that is somewhere right of folk and left of rock. It is poppish without the usual sugar rush associated with that style of music...Sometimes you just want to relax and listen to some tunes, and you can spin a lot worse CDs than this one."

"Brothers In Arms"

"...AOTA have already begun to warrant their own page in the book of Sask music lore."

"Radio Show Quote"

"Where I come from, it’s minus 40 degrees ten months of the year. All of the Above are the antidote to the winter blahs with their self-described “summer on a blanket” feel. Their earnest and upbeat sound is drenched in sunshine rays of harmony, yet still melancholy enough to remind you of the bittersweet memories; like hanging out with friends and lovers that you miss dearly from summer days that have long since passed."

"Choose All of the Above"

"As I've said on here numerous times, one of my first big musical loves was Dave Matthews Band. This has has meant, for better or worse, that I'm still a bit of a sucker when it comes to laidback acoustic pop. Consequently, it should come as no surprise that I'm a big fan of Home, the debut album from All Of The Above. After all, as songs like "Set Me Free" and "Feather" demonstrate, it hits all the same points as DMB -- to say nothing of the likes of Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, et al. It's poppy, it's breezy, there's plenty of jamming."

Fronted by a duo of brothers, All of the Above describe their sound as "summer-on-a-blanket" rock. Their songs are a blending of acoustic/roots heart-and-soul, danceable funk-rock and reggae inspired grooves, and soaring harmonies like only brothers can sing. If you can't picture it, imagine a blending of Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz, Bedouin Soundclash and Barenaked Ladies.

After releasing their debut album in April 2011 (with help from a $10,000 grant from Rawlco Radio) All of the Above performed over 20 shows throughout the summer, including the Ness Creek Music Festival, New Music West, and the Saskatoon Fireworks Festival. Throughout the summer they shared the stage with bands like Secret Broadcast from Toronto, Broken Ride from Calgary, In Medias Res from Vancouver, and home-province favourites Wyatt, Volcanoless in Canada, and Slow Down Molasses.

In other news, the long-running American television show Road Trip Nation will be featuring "Roll With It" on the first episode of their 8th season, airing in September of 2011. Look for All of the Above to continue touring throughout 2011 and into 2012.
