Based out of Hamilton, Ontario, Allosaurus is a Canadian synth-pop duo with a focus on quality songwriting. In the vein of Junior Boys, Hot Chip, and Cut Copy, their tracks feature warm summery beats, dreamy vocals, and midnight-drive melodies, making for a well-rounded, accessible electronic sound. Known for their high intensity live performances and stage antics, not to mention their light-up electronic suits, Allosaurus is a band worth seeing and hearing. Their debut full length was released via Other Songs Music Co. on September 13, 2011. In the past Allosaurus has played at The Drake, Lee's Palace, Clinton's and Sneaky Dee's.
