"Spot Festival, 22.05.2009"

****
”The male/female duo alloy alloy presents hard pumping electronic disco synthpop. Each equipped with their own laptop they turn up the bass. … It’s really quite irresistible when they flash their custom-made leather jackets with the alloy logo and do crazy jumps back and forth just like mad beer-drinking rascals, and whereupon – in a rap-chant-like singing – they exclaim that they’re not here to get drunk or to play funk. Hell, they are a party live.” - GAFFA (music magazine and website)

"SOUNDVENUE"

alloy alloy was Soundvenue Selecte, May 2009:

“With Soundvenue Selected we point out and write about the best not-yet-grinded diamonds”.
“Now it’s time to dance. … Sometimes it’s Antony and the Johnsons, other times it’s Peaches or Miss Kittin that does the trick. If you currently are in the mood for the latter, need something fun, and are looking for an energetic kick-start for the weekend, then alloy alloy is just the right choice. … It doesn’t get more party-like!”
- Soundvenue (music magazine and website)

Bio

Towards the end of 2007 Belgian Deborah Vlaeymans and Danish Mads Kjær Pedersen decided to merge their musical solo projects – Chez Debs and The Mad System – and started making music and concerts together. They chose the name “alloy” to celebrate their solid musical mixture: Alloying one element with another often enhances its properties… soon alloyed materials and motorsport accessories became part the bands overall image. At live concerts alloy alloy mixes crazy need-for-speed choreographies with extensive abuse of their laptops and synthesizers.
