Fusing hard rock with melody, All Things Equal's white-knuckle intensity and powerful playing style combine with unflinching lyrics and an adventurous and epic spirit to set the band apart from today’s mainstream live performances.

The band is comprised of five talented musicians from various points around the country, combining for one diverse, driving musical force. Influenced by everyone from Tool, Trent Reznor, Metallica, Nirvana, Black Sabbath to Jack White and Led Zepplin, All Things Equal marks the beginning of a bold, new direction for hard rock and metal.

All Things Equal formed when its members found they shared a passion for bringing a forward-thinking music to the masses. “We’re not here to please only one segment of music fans. There’s always going to be some segment of the audience that isn’t expecting what we play,” says lead vocalist and song writer Mark D. Zak Mak McLaughlin’s killer solos fit naturally with the vocals as Mark moves effortlessly from hardcore vocals to movingly sung cascading melodies. Bassist Famos Amos feeds off the kinetic tremors of drummer “The Emperor” Tony Jenkins to keep the momentum and energy alive through each, powerful riff.

As befits the drama, darkness and hope inherent in their songs, All Things Equal's name is based on the philosophy that “from the simplest life form to the most complex,” deep down, we are all just atoms combining together to create all forces.

Philosophical and non-dogmatic, All Things Equal strives to give their audience something to think about with their music and lyrics, but most importantly, they bring everything they have to every performance to leave their audience and fans totally rocked, and lusting for more. And, despite their thought-provoking lyrics and inspired music, All Things Equal’s musical message does not hinge on any spiritual or preachy affectations. At the same time, they are converting many souls with their unique sound.

All Things Equal continues to become increasingly more popular the more they play. They extend their fan base with each live performance and can be counted on to bring a good crowd to their performances. With a manager and professional marketing promoter, All Things Equal puts a great deal of time, energy and resources in to promoting their shows. They have a strong presence on Facebook and Myspace and print up professional gig posters to get the word out about where they’ll be appearing. In addition to promoting the show beforehand, the band gives away their premier EP “For Your Consideration” featuring five of their most popular songs, to audiences at the end of every show.
