Feeling a bit camera shy

Alluvion is carving out their own niche in the music world with the 2007 release of their independently produced debut album ‘Lines Through the Sun’. Relying heavily on internet word-of-mouth—driven by an interactive website that the band maintains themselves—and airplay on popular podcasts internet-wide, their unique blend of heavy guitars, intricate melodies and distinct aesthetic is garnering new fans across the country.

“We’re proving that independent music doesn’t have to be three-chord rock.” says drummer Gram Gibson. “We’ve been able to produce well-written, thoughtful pieces of music in our basement just as easily as in a studio, and without the normal constraints of the record making process.”

The result is an hour long disc that runs the gamut from lilting to bombastic and showcases Alluvion’s unique vision for independent music.
