Freshness is one way to express it !! I'm a 19 year old Christian Hop hop artist.
My music is focused on exuding pride in being a Hip Hop fanatic Christian and at the same time luring non Christians to the light through it. Its got a swagger to it, from the way i pronounce words and blend them in with the message its definite to get you jumping and heads nodding.every song has got a message or a life teaching lesson. Music has the power influence or build some one so when i write songs i choose to pray before i get writing. My early influences really where in the "world" i.e Lupe Fiasco,Lil Wayne, Jay Z,Jada kiss. My influences have since changed. My music different from most artist because it incorporates a lot of topics that are present in peoples lives that listen to Christian Hip Hop. My music has got swagger, i don't deliver the message raw, cause that's what i see what has made some christian hip hop artist music "Boring", i use the slang that is used in the "world" to deliver Gods message, Music should be fun so i also talk about Gods purpose,fly clothes & sneakers, trends and spiritual flyness because really these are the things that affect Non Christians and Christians Out in the world so I've my our own style within the Christian Music Industry so that people like they can be cool listening to Christian Hip Hop and not ashamed of it, i guess i'm just doing something no Artists has dared to do yet. my motto is " Christians can also make cool music".
