Bio
Almost Sold Out was formed in 2018. Its founding members are Nick Friedman, Rollie Kraus, and Dayton Policella. The trio recorded the entirety of their first album in their DIY garage studio over the course of 6 months. All three members contributed using different instruments on almost every track. Rollie started as a drummer, Nick started as a bassist, and Dayton as a drummer as well. All three are able to play guitar, bass and drums, but most of the guitar and bass work was done by Rollie and Nick. The drums were recorded by Dayton.
Influenced by everything from Joy Division to DEVO, the band centers itself on making music that does not fall under one genre. Having an eclectic body of work that is tied together by the quality of the music and lyricism is what they would like to be known for, rather than be associated with a certain sound.
With the release of the debut album “A Bit of a Blur,” the band hopes to play shows all around LA, and possibly tour this summer.
