"Almost Legendary - Great Show, Great Pics"

Almost Legendary is a band from Atlanta that has been around for around a year. Consisting of Mark Coryell, Chris Nixon, Ryan Fox, and Brian O’Connor . . . this power punk band is poised to make a name for themselves.

Their influences are legendary bands like Blink 182, The Dollyrots, Cute Is What We Aim For, Jay Sean, Jason Derulo, New Found Glory, so I guess that is why their name is Almost Legendary. They are close to these bands in style and sound, but bring an high paced energy all their own.

Saturday night at Vinyl, these boys rocked it out. This show was so high energy, I almost joined the group of female fans dancing in front of the stage, but honestly I don’t have that much energy anymore! :) Almost Legendary had the crowd moving and enjoying themselves. That is the sign of a successful show! Almost Legendary delivered a great show and I look forward to seeing these guys again! "2/13/2010 Press Release"

Press Release
For Immediate Release

Almost Legendary Music.com is proud to announce Almost Legendary live at The Loft, on February 25th, opening for Bowling For Soup with Guest's Dollyrots. Almost Legendary Burst on the scene in late 2009 when Mark Coryell called on Ryan Fox to start up a band that later would become known as Almost Legendary. Chris Nixon was soon brought into the project to complete a demo recording of "These Are The Days" and Brian O'Connor was brought in as an addition soon thereafter. The band then went on to record their first 4 song demo with Craig Carlson at Arc studios in northern Atlanta. This demo can be downloaded free from www.almostlegendarymusic.com.

Almost Legendary is heavily influenced from fusion between the swagger punk bands of the late 90's including: Blink-182, Sum 41, Hit The Lights, Cartel and the Pop sounds of the more recent digital era. Almost Legendary's Guitarist/Keyboardist/Sex Symbol Brian O'Connor describes the sound as "Imagine that Blink 182's Mark Hoppus and Lady GaGa got intimate, the result would be Almost Legendary. That's the type of tomfoolery that comes out of Mark 'Legendary' Coryell's head".

We Hope to see you at the show on Thursday, February 25th; doors open 8pm, all ages, tickets can be purchased at www.theloftatl.com.
