Bio
Emily McKinin got her feet wet on the NY scene fronting for rock band Avalanche. She now has re-grouped with a talented bass player, Alex Tavares, and amazing percussionist, Joe Beninati, to form "Almost Lucille" which hearkens back to her acoustic days in Boston with meaningful lyrics, gentle guitar and enough energy to get people out of their seats and dancing. They are joined by a classical violist, Alfrida Tozieva and harmonious back up vocalist, Rachel Y. Beninati to create a truly unique sound. Almost Lucille will pull at your heart strings with Emily's honest songwriting and smokey pipes and energize your soul with blues-imbibed orchestration; a musical experience one should not miss!
