Bio
Four talented singers and musicians make up Almost Recess, an a cappella band from Raleigh, NC. Their sound is fresh and dynamic, and will dazzle even the most discerning listener. Critically acclaimed Almost Recess creates the sound of a band using only their voices!
The band collectively has a diverse musical background, but what unites them is their love of singing. They perform over 300 shows annually for audiences of all ages. In their four years together, they have presented their powerhouse program filled with songs and stories at fairs, festivals, schools and performing arts centers, including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and have performed with many other acts, including the Charlie Daniels Band.
The group presents concerts, interactive and educational workshops, residencies and school programs.
