Bio

Almost Tomorrow (A.T.) was formed in early 2003 over a couple of college jam sessions between Eric Hedrich (vocals/guitar) and Mike Mertens (percussion). Having taught themselves the ropes of music, but inspired from artists such as Jack Johnson and Dave Matthews, (A.T.) wanted to find their own unique style of music that related to their lives. As early as a couple months into playing as a duo (A.T.) was invited to the New York Independent Music festival in Las Vegas and was awarded the best acoustic band. They were also invited to MOB fest in Chicago in the summer of 2003. From there Eric and Mike went abroad in Europe for 4 months and further evolved as musicians. Upon returning home in 2004 the two decided that music would be a main focus in their lives. Over the next year (A.T.) played out wherever they could, both gigs and open mics in the Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago land areas. They also setup a studio to record their own music which allows them to place a more personal and rewarding touch on their music. In April of 2005, Almost Tomorrow appeared on WONC 89.1 FM as a guest and played a few songs as well. Recently, not only have they been asked for permission to be featured on a surf documentary that will be shown on the Sundance Channel, but they have also welcomed a third member, John Lhotka (bass, lead guitar) into the band. Almost Tomorrow has found there niche in music and is beginning the journey to show it to music fans all over the world.
