Alone Against Rome

At it’s beginning Alone Against Rome was a side project that bloomed into a priority for all the members involved. The band was formed in 2008 in Nelson B.C. when Etienne Girard and Brent Gallant met. They recruited members for a showcase of original metal but soon discovered that this could be more than just a project. The line up was Glen Emond, Kyle Sheppard, Geoff Ross and the two founding members. Soon after, Glen left the group and was replaced with Evan Arnott on rhythm guitar to complete the current line up.
Individually, each member of the group brings something to the great chemistry of the band. Each member has spent time in institutions studying music across Canada and has extensive experience touring and performing. The founding members, Etienne Girard (Bass), and Brent Gallant (Lead Guitar) compose the body of the bands music. Geoff Ross (Vocals), Kyle Sheppard (Drums) and Evan Arnott (Rhythm Guitar) each write their respective parts to compliment the song writing. Utmost respect for each other and the music, are what elevate Alone Against Rome to the top of their playing field.
