Bio

Pietro Alessandro Alosi born in Palermo began his artistic activity in 2007 as author, voice and guitar of the duo Il Pan del Diavolo with 5 albums and hundreds of concerts to his credit. The duo immediately attracted attention for their original proposal and thanks to the production of Fabio Rizzo (800a record) the band began working with foreign sound engineers such as JD Foster (Green on red, Nancy Sinatra) for their debut album " Sono all'Osso”, a debut well received by critics and finalist among the best first works of Tenco 2010.
In 2012 they released the album Piombo Polvere e Carbone. Two years later in Arizona with Antonio Gramentieri (Sacri Cuori) and Craig Schumacher (Calexico, Giant Sand, Bob Dylan) they sculpted a unique sound of its kind for the album "Folkrockaboom". In addition to an intense live activity in Italy, Il Pan del Diavolo will travel abroad several times, playing in Texas at the prestigious Sxsw, New York and also in London (Ding Walls), Amsterdam and Brussels.
In 2015 Alosi began his activity as an artistic producer with the production of Cappadonia's debut album "Orecchie da elephant" (nomination for best first work by Tenco 2016).
Alosi is also co-author of some important names on the independent scene such as Motta (Tenco debut feature award 2016) and Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, with "Inumani" also nominated for Tenco that year.
Since 2017, in addition to his artistic career, he began working in the recording studio as a producer.
In 2018 he followed a recording, mixing and mastering master's degree with Steve Albini (Shellac, Nirvana).
In 2019 he released his first solo album "1985" (La Tempesta), well received by critics and the live opening act of Piero Pelù's solo tour.
In 2020 he follows a mix course with Tommaso Colliva (Calibro 35, Muse)
On October 20, 2022 the single “Downtown feat. Stevie Culture”, while on November 24th “Blues animalie feat Adriano Viterbini” will be released, previews of the album “Cult”.
