Alotymus

BandRockPunk

We are 3 dudes from levittown that love to make catchy music and reel people in with an amazing young talent on drums and some of the best guitar solos and instrumental bridges youve heard in a while. but most of all we make the music because we like to have fun.

Biography

Alotymus started in september of 2007. well the band name has been around since 2003 when the band was originaly started by Anthony and Bill but never seemed to ge the ball rolling. so after a couple failed attempts of only writting 2 1/2 songs with their previous drummer, they put the band on hold until later on in the future, 4 years later when they found an amazing talent on drums in Anthony brother Chris. after about a week of jamming together, they had gotten a show and written what so far seems to be the best and fan favorite of the songs theyve written so far, "Unlucky." after writting 5 pretty decent songs in a month, they knew that this was the best band to have and they had alot of fun making their music. from catchy lyrics, to amazing drums, to the sweet sound of Bills solos, Alotymus has grown alot in a short 8 month period and is gaining fans worldwide where they one day hope to tour.

Unlucky

Lying on my back, looking at the sky above

watching all the shapes of clouds that got me thinking of

the last time we were together and that last time that we kissed

no phone calls up to heavin oh dear your voice i fucking miss

and your touch that kept me warm even threw my coldest nights

ill try to hide the tears but for love ill lose the fight

so as my pen slides across this paper signed in death we do not part

casue when god took away my savior at the same time he took my heart

As i write you this letter ill seal it with a kiss

a stamp of love that wont run off filled with the memories we miss

and as the flame hits the final corner and your envelope is ash

ill pray my smoke signal will reach you and one day youll send it back

i promised i wouldnt forget you and put my love into a song

it hasnt been a year baby but a week is just too long

too long for me not to hold you and too long for you to be out of my arms

ill give life away to be with you casue i cant be lucky without my charm (without my charm)

As i write you this letter ill seal it with a kiss

a stamp of love that wont run off filled with the memories we miss

and as the flame hits the final corner and your envelope is ash

ill pray my smoke signal will reach you and one day youll send it back

Lying on my back looking at the sky above

everyday i do this babe im doing this for love

i can see you in my dreams which now arent coming true

cause im lying on my back and im looking up at you

Nowhere

Staring at your eyes of glass that shatter as you walk right past, im trying to find something to say to you

gain the courage to get off my ass wondering if i should let this pass, but i do not want to let you go

you have some uncontrolable thing keeping my eyes on you and i dont know what to do

give me one little flick of your hair, just some kind of incentive

i know you wont regret it

so i ask if i can give you a call now i dont know why i asked this girl, your laugh was like a shot heard round the world

im drunk enough to slap that smerk but inside all i feel is hurt so ill just go back and have another drink

you have some uncontrolable thing keeping my eyes on you and i dont know what to do

give me one little flick of your hair just some kind of incentive

i know you wont regret it

it doesnt really matter what you think withour me around youll need to see a shrink, sometimes i wonder if you ever even had a clue (you have some thing...thats keeping my eyes keeping my eyes on you)

listen little lady quit wastin mo time, just write your number down on the line, sometimes i wonder....but (and i wont regret and i know that you wont i know that you wont regret it)

Discography

Unlucky, Tony Blairs Side Project, One Last Second Chance, Nowhere on our demo that we hand out at shows. EP album coming soon"Intralectiv-EP" will have 7-8 songs. Nowhere and Unlucky are streamed over myspace and we have a purevolume, zoomoozik, and unsigned.com pages that have Tony Blairs Side Project and One Last Second Chance and a few other acoustic songs we recorded so that we wouldnt forget to make them.

Set List

we usually dont play the same set list at every show. we have about 15 songs and counting and we like every one of them. its hard to disclude songs from playing them live. we have enough to play more than an hour but we typically only get half hour sets. although one of our best sets was a 45 minute one. the longer the better.
