Alpha Hero Demo, 2008/2009

Influenced by a variety of genres and styles these five guys pour their soul into an unmistakable chemistry that can be seen as well as heard.

Alpha Hero's current recordings from London Bridge Studios were recorded in March, 2009. They were recorded, and mixed by Jason Shavey.

Alpha Hero started as a vision that guitarist and songwriter Warren Whitehead had after the demise of another seemingly short term project. The dream was to recruit likeminded musicians who would be focused on writing and creating good music that had a groove, hits hard when needed and has a hook. Whitehead phoned long time friend Tommy Hinchman to add the backbeat on drums. There was instant chemistry and the two began writing material together. In March of 2008 the band recruited Cory Sousa on bass guitar. Sousa was the perfect fit, but the puzzle was still missing its final piece. The band was still looking for the right person to front the project. After several months of searching with nothing to show for it, drummer Tommy Hinchman stepped up to become Alpha Hero's new front man. With the core material written and gigs lined up the search for a replacement drummer began. Bassist Sousa phoned long time friend Kyle Murphy who was able to step in and learn the material in a matter of weeks. Murphy adds his hard hitting style to the Alpha Hero lineup. The fifth member of the band was added in November of 2008. Enter lead guitarist, Sam Geiver. Geiver brings an added spark to the band with his amazing bag of guitar licks.
