Nostradamus Said

Written By: Al Raebuck

Nostradamus said the world is coming to an end
I guess that’s how it’s gonna be
Did his predictions wed lonely nights spent in his bed
The future was brighter than it seemed

Only a fool could’ve seen
A glimmer of hope through the darkness of a dream
Only a fool could’ve seen
Only a fool like me

The Sun, The Earth, The Moon, and the stars above
They’re not mine to give away
They’re there for everyone
And if I could you’d be the one
The future’s looking brighter every day

Only a fool could’ve seen
A glimmer of hope through the darkness of a dream
Only a fool could’ve seen
Only a fool like me

Fantasy

Written By: Al Raebuck

I stand before you, I have no defense
Yet I still adore you, This love is immense
I wish I could hate you for all that you’ve done
But you make me think I’m the fortunate one

Yet I see nothing but doubt in disguise
There’s nothing real for me
But you know I can’t deny
You’re my Fantasy

A whore and an angel, the moment depends
You strike like the devil and then you repent
I wish I could leave you to burn in the sun
But you make me think I’m the fortunate one

Yet I see nothing but doubt in disguise
There’s nothing real for me
But you know I can’t deny
You’re my Fantasy

I’ve been here before, and I’ll be here again
I could have more if I’d only begin
To leave this existence under your thumb
Making me think I’m the fortunate one

Tired of waiting

Written By: Al Raebuck

It’s so hard to think about it
And even harder to do
Trying to find a way to talk to you

Almost want to laugh about it
But I know it ain’t no use
At the end of the day
I’ve got no clue

Somewhere along the route
Well, I guess I lost my way

And I’m so tired of waiting
Waiting for something to change
Oh, I’m so tired of waiting
When everything just stays the same

I try not to think about it
And leave it up to you
But all you want to do is shout about it
So someone’s got to choose

Somewhere inside the book
Well I guess I missed a page

Walls of Jericho

Written By: Al Raebuck

Maybe I’m being hard on myself
But I lose my perspective like anyone else

I get down on you, down on me
The harder I look it gets harder to see

(Bridge)
I’m asking you please, don’t you leave
Travel this road, we’ll see where it leads

(Chorus)
And rise up your voice and then we’ll sing together
Something could happen, you never can tell
And may the riches we find be the riches of wisdom
Like when the walls of Jericho fell

Lately I’ve needed encouraging words
But I shouldn’t expect them so easily heard
I get down on the world, down on me
The harder I try I get harder to please

Bridge/chorus

The things that we learn
The things that we go through
Must be worth something, or nothing at all
But either way I guess there’s somewhere to go to
Waiting for me outside of this wall

Bridge/chorus
