Alright All Right

Alright All Right

BandRockPunk

A teen fueled power, pop, punk trio that combine intelligent lyrics, minus the usual angst, with ripping chord work stitched together by classic rock influenced guitar solos. This is not your run of the mill speed demon punk band. these boys have something to say and make sure that you can hear it.

Biography

Alright all Right has been together for a year and a half. Pete is 14 years old, Joe is 16, and Sam is 15. Pete and Joe cut their rock and roll teeth on Hendrix, Zepplin, Clapton, and The Who dosed with heavy portions of The Clash, the Replacements, Flogging Molly, Drop Kick Murphys, and MXPX. Sam came with the drumbeat energy to fuel their all originals music. The boys don't sing love songs. Their music comes from their teen age perception of an American culture in trouble and their hope that change for the better is somewhere around the bend. Alright All Right burns it up onstage and understands an audience wants a good show instead of being ignored by slouching malcontents hiding behind instruments. If this is a band of angry teenagers then they're angry about the underused potential of their peers and an uncaring "system". Powerful chords, slick guitar solos, heady lyrics, and good songwriting make this band an infectious antidote to what ails youth in America.

Lyrics

WWIII

Written By: Joe Gougeon

Time has shown us they have long out grown us, how long can we stay on top?
The sky was the limit now we're living in it our ascent is going to stop

Look out its World War three,
Burning down the bridges of humanity
There will be fighting in the streets for Years, years months and weeks
Look out its World War three,
Look out its World War three

One thing leads to another till you can call no man your brother
A few other armies joined in And oh boy here coms another

Look out its World War three,
Burning down the bridges of humanity
There will be fighting in the streets for Years, years months and weeks
Look out its World War three,
Look out its World War three

Who really wants to be around when we come crashing to the ground
I'm not going to be hanging around when the battle sounds

Look out its World War three,
Burning down the bridges of humanity
There will be fighting in the streets for Years, years months and weeks
Look out its World War three,
Look out its World War three

Idols

Written By: Joe Gougeon

Standing in the darkness I was lost without your call
I heard a scream of six string mayhem, now I dont feel bad at all
The music cuts into my soul just like a knife
Releasing it from its earthly prison into the afterlife

I have worshipped Idols among the gods of rock
I have prayed to guitar heroes and to bass titans on the top
To drummers who call down rolling thunder
May I eat at your table when I’m six feet under

Throughout my childhood and teenage years you kept the beast at bay
Blazing notes like torches shone to light my way
I’ve become a zealot there is no turning back
I’ll follow you through heaven or hell with my axe upon my back

I have worshipped Idols among the gods of rock
I have prayed to guitar heroes and to bass titans on the top
To drummers who call down rolling thunder
May I eat at your table when I’m six feet under

Indoctrinated as I kneel before your black and gold altar
Donning the robe of rock and roll I will never falter
Raising a fist and raising a cry to the gods on high
A faithfull follower always I will never say goodbye

I have worshipped Idols among the gods of rock
I have prayed to guitar heroes and to bass titans on the top
To drummers who call down rolling thunder
May I eat at your table when I’m six feet under
May I eat at your table when I’m six feet under

Champagne

Written By: Joe Gougeon

Working all day on a lawn for a local millionaire who is acting like they are not even there
oh the days are long gives me lots of time to think about this song

Discontentment and resentment are thriving in a tenement while a millionaire somewhere drinks champagne
Champagne, champagne, But what about the painful look in so many peoples eyes?
Champagne, champagne, But what if the rain could wash away all the reasons that they cry?

Living lives by pumping gas flipping burgers and selling hash fixing public toilets in a state of disrepair
While businessmen Are cutting deals they are taking orders and truing wheels

Discontentment and resentment are thriving in a tenement while a millionaire somewhere drinks champagne
Champagne, champagne, they are just trying to gain some respect in Americas eyes
Champagne, champagne, but what would be the gain of denying that they’re even alive?

Out of sight and out of mind oh won’t someone help us find some compassion and ease of mind
No one really knows that they’re there but after all who really cares

Discontentment and resentment are thriving in a tenement while a millionaire somewhere drinks champagne
Champagne, champagne, But what about the painful look in so many peoples eyes?
Champagne, champagne, but what would be the gain of denying that they're even alive?

Champagne, champagne, oh we need a change to help this place we call home
Champagne, champagne, oh we need a change don’t ever stay the same

Where I'm Bound

Written By: Joe and Pete gougeon

Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound
Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound

lost on the highways of an empire on the brink of collapse
I dont know where I’m going but I’ll keep moving till I can relax
With every mile I’m searching for some air thats easy to breathe
with every turn I’m looking for some one to leave with me

Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound
Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound

Driving under the influence of a revolution
Come get lost with me people let's make a resolution
to go where I’m going to set me free
I am writing this for you as much as I’m writing it for me

Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound
Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound

Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound
Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound
Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound
Again, on the road again next crossing will take me where I’m bound
