Al & Rog-Lee

Almustafa James and Roger Norwood II a.k.a the R&B and Rap duo-Al & Rog-Lee were born and raised in Oklahoma City , Oklahoma . The two have more in common than most male musical groups. They were both born in June 1986, just five days apart at the same hospital. At the age of 5, they coincidentally attended the same school, Corpus Christi . There they were in the same kindergarten and 1st grade classes together. Additionally, both later enrolled at the same elementary school. Almost eight years later, the close friends graduated from Millwood High School in the Spring of 2004 and were even employed afterwards with the same telemarketing company. The duo they decided to enroll and attend Langston University , a HBCU just 35 miles northeast of Oklahoma City . It was at Langston University , they realized they had a special musical chemistry. In their free time, the two would take popular songs and put there own comical twist to them for their personal amusement, recording them on a cell phones and later sharing with fellow students. Initially they were surprised by the overwhelming response for their love there renditions of the mainstream hits. It was at that point they decided to come together to form the group we know today as Al & Rog-Lee, and pursue a career in music.
