Well respected Mongolian music and performance group Altain Orgil fuses elements of traditional Mongolian folk music with contemporary instruments and styles to create world music with an edge.


Mongolian music and performance collective Altain Orgil fuses traditional Mongolian music and dance with contemporary instruments and styles. The group embraces Mongolian culture, often performing live with contortionists and Mongolian dancers alongside long song, khoomei (throat singing), morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) and a host of other instruments.

Altain Orgil has played a number of international folk and film festivals in countries including Germany, Japan, Hungary, Colombia, France, Russia and Korea, and strives to promote Mongolian culture and tradition across the world.
