Alter

Being the project of Jake LeBuhn and Dennis Corbin, Alter began in February 2011. It was the idea of both Jake and Dennis to play covers along with their own material. Throughout the year, Alter went through several line up changes. Dennis and Jake remained constant. In September, they found a new drummer, Yutaka Magee after the other drummer left the band. They liked Taka so much that they invited him to join the band and play a show within two weeks of joining the band. This show solidified Taka's place as the new drummer for Alter. However, they were also in search of a new lead guitarist, as the previous guitarist had left to pursue his own music. This is where Kelsey Marchman entered the picture. Jake and Dennis viewed Kelsey's YouTube page and loved what they saw. They loved that she was a female, African American, young and most importantly, could play her instrument. Jake and Dennis
contacted her and she immediately agreed to join the band. The first practice showed that the new line up instantly clicked and the new Alter was born.
