Alteras

Coming out of Austintown, OH, Alteras is a five-piece band consisting of Vocalist Jake Clasen, Guitarists Mike Dulay and Jordan Woolley, Bassist Zack Orr, and Drummer Seth Donchess.

Alteras's sound is heavily influenced by current artists such as Sleeping With Sirens and Memphis May Fire.

"Toby Or Not Toby" was the first single released by the band, setting them in a firm direction with their sound, not only touching upon a rock/metal influence but edging into a more electronic feel.
After a small success with this they put out a second single called "Promise Me Dishonesty" that gave the band a little more depth in their sound, now pushing them in a newer direction with their music, with more melodic harmonies and matured sound. Both tracks are featured on Band For A Cure's most recent philanthropy CD(2013), which is available for download on iTunes.

The "Shapeshifter" EP will put the band in a brand new scene, pushing more into a Post-Hardcore/Rock genre. The band cannot wait to release this to the public and to get a response.
