Always The Sixth are a four piece band from the very North of Scotland. Forming in April of 2010 Always The Sixth recorded their first set of songs including a Ricky Martin cover (Linvin La Vida Loca) and were offered a slot on the seedling stage at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and a mini tour with the YMI.

2011 seen Always The Sixth playing Go Surf which was a Go North event, Go North, Rockness, Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival and Main stage at Bfest, which was a massive achievement for the band, playing to such a large crowd in their home town. Aswell as these festivals the band have supported Twin Atlantic, Hip Parade, Canterbury and upcoming band Healthy Minds Collapse.

With the departure of the bands bassist in late 2011 the bands close friend and occasional driver Kevin Sinclair stepped into the roll. The band are at their strongest theve ever been and are working towards recording a mini album by the end of summer.

Some of the factors that influence the band are not just musicians they listen to. Becoming a bigger band and letting more people hear their music along with playing bigger venues is what influences the bands music. They always say their music is never finished until it is perfect.
