Still working on that hot first release.

“Having always been fond of the spotlight, I was simply lured to the stage.”

Wether it being “the kitchen counter 5 o’clock stand up solo show” or him directing other kids in a big production presented live in the family room, Alex Has always been fond of creation and everything related to performance art. Being a hyperactive kid that was constantly on the lookout for performing opportunities, Alex’s parents decided that
maybe channeling all this energy into some kind of art would be a good thing.

At 7 he started singing lessons, at 9 theatre, at 12 musical theatre and dance and has never given up these ways of expressions since then.

“Sometimes words just aren’t enough to share what you have inside.”

At 15 he competed in his first singing competition and won the contest (La Relève Culturelle de Gatineau). That gave him the opportunity to open up for a well know Quebec artist called Daniel Boucher in front of over 40 000 people.

That event was enough to give him the motivation to try out at any singing contest his mother would sing him up for (thanks mom). Here are a couple of contests he had the chance to rank.

Winner of the “festival de la Chanson de Magog” in 2007
- Choice of the audience Award
- Journalists and medias Award
- Winner of the contest Award
Star Académie 2008
- Quarter Finals
Canadian Idol 2007
- Top 200
“Festival de la chanson de Saint Ambroise”
- Finals 18+  in 2007
Finals 13-17 years old category  in 2005

*This is a shortlist of all the contest Alex has taken part to.

Passion, Energy and Originality are the drive of this artist that defines himself by his explosive live performances, his warm and powerful voice and his love of dance.

When it was time to head off to college, he decided to pursue his dream and passion by entering the pop singing music program in “College Lionel-Groulx”. He was kicked out of school because he had missed too many classes due to contests and shows, but he came back and earned his College Degree in Pop Music.

Since then, he took part in many productions such as : Peter Pan The Musical, Creatures, etc.

In 2010 one of his dreams become reality when he flies off to San Juan, Puerto Rico to feature in 2 Carnival Productions Shows onboard the Victory ship : City Lights - a broadway extravaganza and Vroooom - a high energy musical review.

1400 spectators each night, 14 dancers, lights, explosions! Everything that got the kid in him going crazy. These high end productions gave Alex a good feel of how intense performing non-stop for 7 months can be.

It’s the desire of liberty and the need to create that brought alex back to land to start off a big project he has always wanted to do : Write his own music and record an album.
