ALYNA also known as Alina Tran, a Vietnamese-American singer and songwriter, embodies the spunk and vibrance needed to stand out from a new generation of artists. She brings much-needed Asian representation to the music industry while enthralling listeners with her soul-pop, lo-fi r&b melodies. Inspired by the likes of Ariana Grande, H.E.R, and Tierra Whack, she exemplifies feminine power, self-love and positivity with her intense yet harmonic sounds. Alina has always been driven by her love for music, writing her own songs since the age of 12. Channeling her emotional energy through her artistry was her way of dealing with life’s obstacles. Rooted in a generation that obsesses over social media and self-image, Alina brings a refreshing aura of authenticity and vulnerability in her lyricism that every woman can empathize with. “I make music because I grew up feeling like I had no outlet to put out my energy and my thoughts.
