Alyric Royale

Described as having “Raw Talent”, entrepreneur, recording artist, songwriter, producer and pianist Alyric Royale simply describes herself as “Real.”  Born in Youngstown, Ohio and raised in Milwaukee, WI, she embarked on her career in music after a performance by La’More (The Latimore Brother’s) and after meeting Christian rap trailblazers, The Cross Movement.
After surviving being struck by a school bus at the age of five, her adoptive parents saw her elevated interest in music and they enrolled her in piano lessons under the training of the late Jacqueline Behm-Glennon.  Playing piano for church choirs and recitals, fluent in violin and self taught other instruments she began winning awards in piano guilds and competitions and she managed to learn the art of songwriting at the age of eight.  From there, during the time that Bad Boy and Death Row dominated the rap world, she began to branch her interests over from gospel and classical, to hip hop and rnb. She credits Tupac, Mozart, Beethoven, Aaliyah, Timbaland,  Anita Baker, Yolanda Adams, Mary J Blige, Fred Hammond, Brandy, Monica and Destiny’s Child as her early musical influences.    In her teen years, she studied radio broadcasting and production.  For a school project she interviewed a dj at a local college radio station in order to find out how she would be able to get her music on the radio.
Having resided in different states by 2005, as a young adult and mother, she was living in New York City.  It did not however, turn out the way she dreamed and the end of an engagement, she realized she was not going to be happy in life unless music was involved.  While seeking knowledge and direction through a family friend, Joey Kidd,  former member of the C&C Music Factory,  Alyric’s first professional session was in 2011 with Grammy award winning producer and engineer Edwin Ramos.  She then began recording in the Bronx with producer and engineer Artie Rodriguez. Though networking and social media, she came across another aspiring  producer and artist from Decatur, GA, Slim Terra.  From there, the single “What I Wanna Hear” was created and she performed at New York City’s “Pyramid”, “Karma Lounge” as well as “Café’ Iguana.  She began collaborating with many aspiring New York City artist, and  she also appeared in music videos for underground hiphop artist “Rain910” and hiphop group “Tru Fam”.  After a fruitless management deal with Mirror Entertainment, she decided to continue her journey as an independent artist.   She is currently working on business endeavors and the release of her debut album as well as music videos to follow up “What I Wanna Hear” and “Royalty” which featuring Los Angeles rapper, B Dot the God.  She is also preparing for up and coming shows and appearances.  You can find her via social media and music on iTunes, Spotify, iHeart radio, Pandora etc.. as well as www.soundcloud.com/alyricroyale and www.alyricroyale.com
