A Major Award

Nothing feels better than when something works as it’s supposed to. The members of the St. Louis based pop-rock trio A Major Award embody this concept in a remarkable way. The artistic drive of frontman Rob Krosley is enhanced by the always energetic creative spark of lead guitarist Parker Hedman, and is anchored down by the rock-solid beats of workhorse drummer Josh Harms. The band, which formed during the members’ high-school years, has had some great successes in the St. Louis area and is currently moving beyond their home sweet home to new venues around the midwest, including Kansas City, Indianapolis, and places between. Undoubtably, however, what fuels A Major Award’s never-say-die attitude is the quality and depth of the songs themselves. With a new EP entitled “Homes, Roads, and Houses” produced by MAE frontman Dave Elkins in Nashville, AMA feels a new sense of purpose and direction to their artistic journey. With compelling new material, a focused drive, an exciting presence on the stage, and great brotherly chemistry, these twenty-something midwest-dwelling pop-rockers are hoping that the times ahead really do “bring out the best” of A Major Award.
