If you're lookin' for raw, kick your teeth in country music, you've found it. Whiskey Savage is, to put it simply, not the kind of band you take home to mama. With a decidedly modern country/ southern rock style and an amplified stage show, it's no wonder this band already has heads turnin' and people talkin'. While they stay true to their country roots with crowd favorites from Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Jr., Whiskey Savage turns up the bass and gets loud with covers from country/ rock singers Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. This band has it all, from drummer Matt Hoagland's bad ass attitude and wild metal style, and Joe Norris' rockin' guitar licks on lead guitar. Dave Walsh's fingers seems to effortlessly fly over his bass and rhythm guitarist/ vocalist Chris Lockhart adds an old school country vibe with his deep, timeless vocals. Lead singer Amanda Gray completes the five piece Whiskey Savage with a voice that aches with emotion on Jamey Johnson's "In Color" and screams for attention on Carrie Underwood's "Flat On The Floor." Whiskey Savage reminds you there ain't nothing wrong with having a good time.
