BandAlternativeRock

INTENSE, all *ORIGINAL* classically-trained MUSIC SCHOOL DROPOUT plays very present ROCK MUSIC; actually, call it RENAISSANCE rock for HACKERS... Littered with C0DE ( that wasn't one), catchy, romantically trashy, and if you really cake it on, less than discreetly demented. in a nice way.

Biography

you don't REALLY want to actually read a speech here about musical influences, do you?(DEVO, television, ace frehley, kate bush, plastique bertrand, kraftwerk, nina hagen, rat bastard, layne stayley)

BYE, BYE, JOHN (upcoming release)

Written By: amanda green c. ivanmusic 2004 ascap

bye bye bye john
are you staring in a comb?
bye bye bye bye john
I'm a lady in the way
when we're away, again

bye bye, john
john, bye bye
even though you're
never really gone
we're never really gone
bye bye john,
yeah, you're never really gone
bye bye, john, bye bye,

ooh, well,
I probably would have known you
despite
bye bye bye bye
you didn't leave-- he'll notice
and you're making notes along the way-- yeah

and the STYLES they play our room,
bye bye bye bye john
I'll say you'll know
even though you are
ne ver
really gone
I'll say bye, bye
bye bye bye bye john,
bye bye bye bye

oh, oh, bye bye john......

HOW THE WEST WAS ONE (upcoming release)

Written By: amanda green c. 2004 IVAN records, ASCAP

how the west was one
I do not know
The test of everything was timing out
from behind, from below and
every little finding...
everybody wants to know
everybody wants to know

I'll be here in this rule I'll be me
I'll be,
Down from behind then just below that's where you'll find this:
everybody wants to know
everybody wants to know...

and they don't
and they'll be talk talk talk talk talk talk talking about it
I can feel it all around
I can feel it-- feel it coming down

I'm feeling under,
All of the time
All you ever learn,
All you ever wanted and I feel it
under
All of the time
All you ever learn
All you ever wanted
Was to be you again

But, no. It's just a spirit that survives
All in all it was something to depend on
We never know so much and all that's gone
on and on
that's how the West was one
We'll never know so much again,
again, again and again,
All in all and, on and on and

All of the time, everybody run!
"EVERYBODY, STOP!"
"EVERYBODY, RUN!"

Around from one side again
From below that's where you'll find this:
EVERYBODY WANTS TO KNOW
everybody wants to know.

Pull out the landslide,
This is what it sounds like,
This is where it really shows.
And everybody wants to know;
everybody knows
and they don't
and they'll be talk talk talk talk talk talk talking about it
I can feel it all around
I feel it coming down

I'm feeling under (yeah)
all of the time
all you ever learn
all you e v e r w a n t e d

AND I'm feeling it under
all of the time
all you ever learned,
you ever wanted
was to be you again but no,

It's just a spirit that survives
All in all it was something to depend on
We never notice much now all that's gone
On and on and on
THAT'S HOW
the West was one
we'll never know so much again
again, again and again
All in all and
HOW DOES THIS SONG END?

anybody ought to know... :)

Set List

we play stuff from any of our albums whenever the hell we want and we thus avert dark forces and/or hostile patterns. (actually, I'm making this up, set lists are actually compiled YEARS ahead of times, oddly in some instances BEFORE THE SONGS EVEN EXIST.) Admittedly, I just also made that up, too. Okay, fine I was stalling because I was suddenly self-conscious about the fact that
sometimes we'll just make everything up at the time if things are quite odd.
in the past we have covered of "gut feeling/slap your mammy" "mongoloid" (devo) "snow blind" (ace frehley) and "blank generation" (richard hell and the voidoids) but mostly we play original junk. hopefully I'll figure out "god of thunder" (KISS) soon. I would think that was really funny.
