Amanda Heidt Band

Recently opened up the Junior League of Fort Myers' Taste of the Town, Southwest Florida's largest festival. Amanda Heidt, born and bread in Mississippi, had her first performance on a stage at the age of 3 and has not stopped since. She has performed in New York as well as recorded in Nashville. With her first commercial at the age of 10 , she has performed solo and with musical groups across most of the Eastern Seaboard. Her music is from the soul and she is more at home on a stage than anywhere else. She loves singing and writing country music which is evident in her performance abilities. Her band is nothing but talent. Billy Canty on the drums was born in Louisiana and has been playing since the age of 4 when he recieved a red bugs bunny drumset. He has studied under some of the best in the industry including Ayib Dieng and Jim Chapin. As well as being a performer he is also a professional instructor. Dominic Thiel has been playing Bass Guitar for bands and theatrical groups for many years. Mike Knox began playing piano at the insistance of his mother at the age of 5. He is a self-taught guitarist and loves to be on stage playing with a group.
