Four songs from "Don't Label Me" and one from "Destructive Behavior" were just featured on the ABC Family movie "The Initiation of Sarah". The lead singer played the role of Vita.

The band released their first full length CD entitled “Don’t Label Me” in June 2002 to rave reviews. Out of over 10,000 CDs submitted from all over the world, their album placed 3rd for the Alternative Album of the Year in the Just Plain Folks Music Awards with 4 of the songs being nominated for Song of the Year. The band was invited to play at the awards ceremony which took place at the Galaxy Concert Theatre in Santa Ana, CA where they performed in front of over 600 musicians. As a performer, Amber Brooke, 19, already has an impressive resume that includes appearances in movies, television, voice-overs and theatre. Now she has set her sights on the music business. One of her first songs, “Michelle’s Song” shows the true depth of Amber’s talent. After the death of her best friend’s father, Amber takes an introspective look at the emotional turmoil people go through with the death of a close loved one, and explores the questions one must answer to begin the healing process. The background vocals are all friends of Michelle and she voices the closing line. The song won the MakeAStar.com contest and is currently on their first compilation CD. Impressive considering Amber was only 14 !

Lyrics

Nobody

Written By: Lyrics: Amber Brooke/Music: Amber Brooke & Daniel Platzman

She's so pretty
So much prettier than me
She's so funny
Got a great Personality

I'm just a girl who is nobody
I'm just a girl who needs somebody

Chorus:
Don't wanna be myself
Because I am nobody
Don't wanna be myself
Because I am nobody

She's interesting
More interesting than me
She unpredictable
You say it makes you so crazy

And I'm just a friend
Who really hates her
Because I am just friend
Who can only wonder

Chorus x3

Heavy

Written By: Amber Brooke Wallace

Can you please just hold me right now
I just fit inside your arms
I'm too cold to shiver, to beaten to cause harm
Don't you feel how we're locked in
I know I'll be alright if you just hold my hand

Chorus:
My thoughts are heavy
My words are heavy
My eyes are heavy
Just let me cry

I don't really want to talk but I can't be alone
I want to touch your face and look into your eyes
and call you my own
How do you hurt me saying nothing at all
How does your presence break down all my walls

Chorus

Bridge:
All the demons and the sins have laid their hands upon me
I sit crying in the corner, please I need you
All the heavy things are falling down upon me
Please don't follow, cause I'm lost to

My thoughts are heavy
My words are heavy
Dry eyes are heavy
Just let me cry

please cry with me

Hit the Ground

Written By: Amber Brooke Band

Break it up- Break it up now... It’s gonna end with another man down. Run away- Run away now... Fear keeps us bound. Lick the blood off the street now... Evidence is incriminating. Give it up- Be afraid now...You should hit the ground!/ You can run from yourself; your non-corporeal self, but you can never hide from he who is more than just a man. Come and vocalize threats when that’s as good as it gets cause you can never hide from he who is more than just a man./ Walk it off- walk it off now... Every crime throws you further in debt. On a cape we depend now, so don’t forget. Break it up- Break it up now... It’s gonna end with another man down. Run away- run away now...You should hit the ground!/ Chorus/ Can you teach me to fight? I feel helpless! Don’t let go... I will watch you take flight! I am helpless... You should hit the ground.../Chorus
