BIOGRAPHY

Meet Amber Dante!!! She is an edgy Indie artist destined for the mainstream. Miss Danté is the complete package, with beautiful vocals and a songwriting ability that is continually compared to the greats.

She creatively infuses more than four musical genres including, Urban Soul, House, Hip Hop and top 40's Pop, all with a subtle World music undertone. Thus, it is difficult to pin her down to a single genre. She is a true performer, with ability to dance and “sang.” She has an unparalleled stage presence that captivates her audience and an uncanny ability to rally women and beckon men into her world.

Amber Danté is an artist on the rise by her own ingenuity, masterminding her own project and record label, SHERAW Records. SHERAW is an acronym for "Sistahs Headlining Entertainment and Raising Access for Women." She is inspired by one of the pioneering business- women, Madame C.J. Walker, and the President of THE NO LIMIT SOLDIERS, who sold over 75-million albums, Master P. As a woman in this industry, she hopes to garner this same kind of success.

Among her business ventures is the completion and release of her 8-song EP, which is available at stores across the nation, itunes and Cdbaby.com, to name a few. It features her female anthem, FABULOUS, which debuted on San Francisco’s number one commercial radio station, 106.1 KMEL, and soon thereafter was in heavy rotation on several nationally and internationally syndicated radio talk shows. In addition to the buzz surrounding her smooth, groovy single, Amber’s vocal ability also caught the attention of political candidates. In May, she wrote and performed a rendition of “I will Survive,” for San Francisco’s D.A., Kamala Harris, at her campaign kickoff, and received accolades from San Francisco Mayor, Gavin Newsome, and his predecessor, Willie Brown.

While Miss Danté began her career igniting the West Coast Circuit, she now has her sights set on even bigger ventures, including taking over the South and ultimately the world: “one city at a time.” Currently based in Atlanta, she is using her industry savvy as a “spring board” to create a stellar debut album and to start her own talk show: “Real Talk with Amber Dante,” an impromptu audio forum that gets to the heart of real women’s issues and speaks the, ugly, yet, freeing truth.

Amber grew up in Hayward, California. She was raised in Palma Ceia Baptist Church, where her singing career began and was cultivated in the Sunshine Choir. After graduating from UCLA, where she studied abroad in France and West Africa, and acquired a taste for world music, she became a middle-school teacher in the Bayview’s Hunter’s Point District of San Francisco. There she founded The Ladies of KBA, an all-girls step team composed of eighteen, 12-14 year-old girls. Although most of the girls commenced on to high school, they will never forget their motto: “We keep our mind on them books and off them boys.”

Her musical influences include: Selena, Xscape, Brandy, Toni Braxton, The Isley Brothers, Whitney Houston, SWV, Mint Condition, Lailah Hathaway, and many more. Miss Danté is taking the world by storm with her powerful voice, and awesome stage performance. Her writing is dynamic, her voice defies all categories, and her glow is eminent for all to see and hear!!
