Born and raised in Sacramento, Ca, Amber K. grew up in a musically inclined family. With family members, including her parents, singing in groups and making music in the 70s, it was only natural that she too would become fond of music. Over the years she has developed an appreciation for all genres whether it is Pop, Rock, Jazz, Country, Hip-Hop, or R&B. This appreciation is evident today in her ability and interest in writing different types of music.

Amber K. wrote her first lyrics to an original song in junior high when she formed a group with her best friend and cousin. Though they did not pursue music seriously they sang and danced around school for friends and small groups on into early high school days. This was just the beginning for Amber K. Music continued to be a special part of her life and it was around 2000 that she hooked up with a classmate realizing they had a shared interest and perspective on music. With a natural ear for high quality music they joined forces and began sharing ideas and creating.

With writing steadily improving, her music displays her creative style and concept development abilities. Amber K. has become one of the driving forces behind Qajj Entertainment's music as she continuously studies the writing patterns and techniques of the music industrys greats with her own music reaching this level. She is a writer who continues to get better because of her determination and eagerness to learn.
