The ability to connect humans through sound is a gift and she has a way of creating something soulful, something innovative yet familiar, something fresh and full of perspective. From the melody to the lyrics, to drum patterns to chord changes and effects to silence, she is a storyteller who see's sounds and rawly shares emotion through music.
Amber Mimz, Singer, Songwriter and Producer is a native washingtonian and national performing artist. She has been regarded as Essence.com's "New and Next" artist to watch and a "Jill of many trades" by Saint Heron.com, among other outlets. Mentions a side, she strongly believes in creating your own path to see your deepest desires come to fruition. Like most artist, her style and genre are yet to be completely boxed in as she has opened for a range of more popular artist, from Rapper Asher Roth to Poet The Floacist (Of Floetry) to the most recent R&B game changer Tiffany Gouche'. Mimz is blazing a trail of her own that she hopes also serves as a light for others. "If you're egotistical, music can't use you and I want to be used up."
