This weekend's S.I. Pridefest will feature a genre-bending multi-bill and it doesn't matter which way they swing, as long as they turn it up.
Among the featured artists: Local ska and punk act Avon Junkies, rock noisemakers The Belt Band, Telling on Trixie, The Deepest, and dance artist amberRose Marie, whose song "Destiny" has been making waves on radio since the soulful Long Island artist put it out.
The festival starts at 1 p.m. at Cromwell Recreational Center, Pier 6 at Murray Hulbert Ave., Tompkinsville. Admission: Free. More info: Turn to page 25 for info about the parade taking place before this event.
