"MUSIC NEWS NASHVILLE"

Over the years, Canada has given us some of our top artists in Country Music----Anne Murray, Hank Snow, and Shania Twain,
among others… One such singer is newcomer Amber Schneider. The Saskatchewan native has put together quite
a strong collection here. …Schneider sounds like she is radio ready. With her fresh sound and
good looks, I wouldn’t expect Schneider to be “unknown” in the states for long!!!”
- Chuck Dauphin

"Daily Miner & News"

There is a fresh young new face and vibrant voice on the Canadian country music scene. Saskatchewan born, Grant McEwan College (Edmonton) student Amber Schneider has the looks, the youth (she's barely 19) and more importantly the pipes. Combining the 80's pop sensibilities of Debbie Gibson with contemporary country classics of Reba McEntire and Sara Evans with Gretchen Wilson's and Shania Twain's attitude, Schneider is the complete package. And while she has almost completely counted on outside songwriters for her debut CD, Fearless, she is young yet and has her whole career to look forward to. She co-writes one of the more touching Martina McBride-like standout numbers, Heaven's a Better Place. She also has an excellent ear for catchy songs full of wit and hooks with a heap of commercial appeal. You know you are in for a good time from the opening cut, Half The Fun, she shows her inner Shania Twain on Ordinary Kinda Guy, which holds true pretty much throughout. Look for her near the top of the country charts some time soon. To make it even more cool, she countrifies Allanah Myles' late 80's hit, Love Is to end her CD.

"Vancouver Province"

She's from the rolling sand hills of little Leader, Sask., but that booming country voice could be her ticket to the big city.

"Soulshine"

Amber Schneider’s life has been firmly rooted in the Canadian Prairies—she was raised in Saskatchewan, went to college in Edmonton, and recorded her album in Three Hills, Alberta—and so it’s no big surprise that she belts out country tunes. Fearless is the singer’s debut album, and she couldn’t have chosen a better title for the project. With a sassy, headstrong attitude, Schneider aligns herself with the likes of Gretchen Wilson and Miranda Lambert (check out “Lucky Me”). The Saskatchewan songstress’ style leans more towards the side of current country fare that Lambert’s also on, snuggling up close to the easy melodies of pop. With a bit of luck to go with her radio-friendly style, Schneider could soon be leaving her prairie home behind for the bright lights of Nashville.
