"a.m. breakup review"

Mikey and Steve, the duo that form a.m. breakup, have been playing in bands together for nearly 10 years. They originally began the Phoenix metal band Pummel, while doing a.m. breakup on the side. After Pummel disbanded, Mikey and Steve parted ways as Steve moved to San Diego to play drums for the metal-core band Audkik. Mikey stayed in Phoenix and joined up with the indie-rock band Small Leaks Sink Ships. During this time, Steve was asked to play drums for the Las Vegas metal band Hemlock, which took him all over the country and up through Canada. While on tour, Steve called Mikey to see if he could fill-in for a short U.S. and Canada tour, AND two weeks in Japan! While overseas, the two discussed a.m. breakup and how much they missed the chemistry and creative outlet. They both agreed that playing music should be fun, and on their terms. Upon their return to the states, they decided to do a.m. breakup full time and dedicate the time and money necessary to write and record a quality c.d. Never before have these two been so serious about writing, recording, merchandising, and promoting. a.m. breakup are just two best friends that share the same love for music and are willing to do whatever it takes to be heard.
