A.M. Davis is an alt-folk songwriter hailing from Southampton in the UK. Largely exploring the subject of deep human emotion in his lyrics, through his own experiences and observations, his songs can often have a sombre and introverted feel to them; his quiet stage presence often a reflection of this. In stark contrast, his love of classic rock and prog is never far behind and his music can shift from calm to visceral in a heartbeat. Known to bring a room to silence with the intensity of his sound, he's been compared to the likes of Ben Howard, John Martyn and Eddie Vedder; a truly eclectic sound indeed.
