Amelia deVries has been Writing/Singing/Playing Guitar since 2005 and is Rising with every performace that has crossed her path. She is a very talented Woman
Amelia has been performing at Johnathans Resturant in Aurora (Where other artists such as George St.Kitts have performed) for over 3 years. She has also performed at locations such asThe Kathedral, And Rock and Roll Heaven (T.O), The White Rabbit (Newmarket), Bedrock (Innisfil) Music Festival (Mississauga), Private Parties, and other various locations.
Amelia Has Written, Recorded, and Perfomed "Star Child" for a Childrens Cancer organization called B.R.A.I.N Child in which she is a proud supporter for both B.R.A.I.N Child and is a Strong beleiver in Skate 4 Cancer.
She is Currently attending Seneca@York U for Independent Music Production and is currently Collaborating with other Artist. Their Album Release Show will be January 20th 2010 in which the location will be stated in the near future.
This is just the beginning for Amelia deVries and you can exspect to see A LOT more comming from her in the future. Performing her songs all over T.O Amelia deVries has done opening acts for bands such as Streamlined, BS101,solo artist Iman Wain, Themis, One Divided, Nat King Kong, and The Coyotes.
Amelias Single Nervous Will be out January 20th 2010 on the May Intake album and is also currently in the process of creating her first album so we can eagerly be exspecting to hear it in 2010.
