The debut album, “for Him” by Amen JC, serves up 12 original songs that are all different from each other, yet are all very passionate. The title track “for Him” is powerfully written about constant prayer. Lyrically speaking … pray with every breath you take. “No Fear” will send shivers up your spine as it portrays walking through the valley of death, having total trust in the Holy Spirit, while at the same time, the evil one breathing down your neck. And if that weren’t enough, other tracks like “Remember Jesus” and “I Surrender” speak about the respect for, and the receiving of the Holy Eucharist. The diversity of the music, creative lyrics and the passionate vocals make this CD an experience for every Catholic and a must for every Christian.

Amen JC wasn’t just created on a whim. In 2006, Kevin and David realized that the talents they have been given, by God, should be used as the Holy Spirit intended. It was then they decided that with Kevin’s lyrical and song writing ability combined with David’s engineering experience, they could be much more creative and develop a unique, original sound, different than any other band. Forming Amen JC, they have done just that, and adding the creative vocals, switching leads and harmonies off without effort, make this a band that others will want to emulate.
So you ask, how do they know who will sing which part? These two guys sing all the songs and then decide who sounds better and sings it better, based on the style of the song and the feeling they are attempting to obtain. Their ability to humble themselves and each other, for the love of the message and the music, is a breath of fresh air. Once that is done, the harmonies are worked out in turn. We believe this is what makes them unique.
Amen JC is committed to producing and performing Christian music in such a way as to lead people to Christ, through inspirational lyrics, for the sake of their souls. It is very clear that they have opened a new dimension to the Christian music community.
