Bio
American Fever is a five-piece indie rock band based in Brooklyn, whose backgrounds range from classical to jazz, from folk to classic rock, and from R&B to punk. Multi-instrumentalist Gillian Orwoll and guitarist Brian Tell lead the group's versatile backline, consisting of drummer Mike Zimmerman, bassist Donald Rahl, and violinist Krystal Bordoni-Cowley, in blending genre in the same spirit as their influences, which include Sufjan Stevens, Bruce Springsteen, Arcade Fire, as well as classical and jazz composers Bela Bartok and Claude Debussy.
Since forming in 2015, American Fever has honed its sound through relentless live performance, and is now releasing its self-produced debut EP, "The Driggs," which features their first single and music video, "Julia."
