Bio
As the name suggests, this band is comprised of guys that work hard and play hard. All are seasonsed pros from Chicago and the south suburbs. Some of the previous bands include Freewheelin', Rumorz, Generation Hex, No Obligation, and Brewster Creek Blues Band.
'A real band for real people', because they are real people, they bring an audience to life. American Grit, with their motto " Work hard and Play harder" consists of:
Dave Zintak on Lead vocals
Ed Naddess on drums and vocals
Chuck Neuburger on Lead guitar and vocals
Ted Phillips on Keyboards and vocals
Craig urban on Bass guitar.
All the members have played at many venues such as Bourbon St, Cubby Bear, Blue Island, Downers Grove, Oak Forest, as well as private functions at major Hotels and Navy Pier.They have also played at countless conventions and fundraisers.
American Grit plays hits by bands such as The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Allman Brothers,Santana, ZZTop,Eric Clapton, Beatles, Dave Clark 5,Steve Winwood and more. The best part is- no burned out, beaten to death tunes that everyone does, but lots of 'hear it again for the first time' songs.
