Bio

American Honey Project began while sipping warm bourbon on an unusually cold Spring evening. Justin Patterson and Justin Bales felt the need to release their creative energies with something that simply sounded good and unique, but had a wide appeal. Within what seems like seconds, American Honey Project was born, refusing to be defined by genres such as rock, pop, country, or folk. With a large list of familiar and family-friendly covers and some originals of our own, this past July saw AHP representing their home town of Bel Air, MD by showcasing opening night at the Harford County Farm Fair (returning again in 2009) and was the entertainment for the U.S. National Whitewater Slalom Championships in Deep Creek Lake (also with a request to return). This October AHP performed at a members-only celebration of the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michael's, MD (with the request for additional dates) and for the Susan G. Coleman Race for the Cure in Hunt Valley, MD. AHP’s last show of 2008 was Huckleberry’s Coffee and Tea in December. Many 2009 dates are being lined up that include the aforementioned return to Farm Farm, the Richmond, VA Earth Day Celebration and Relay for Life charity event in Fallston, MD!

American Honey Project has experience playing to large crowds, the last to over 30,000 people. American Honey Project has also always received very positive responses from the crowds and marketing directors, which have consistently resulted in an invite back to the venue. Let AHP be the Entertainment Your Audience will remember!
