She is the epitome of creativity, talent, and beauty. Ami; the newest talent to burst onto the pop music scene. For her, music is a natural and instinctive expression of her love and her life. First gracing a stage at the age of 6, by 9 years of age Ami had been seen singing on a segment of the famed "The Oprah Show". Over the next few years, Ami would be heard all over the Chicagoland area, and even on the Disney World stage. She began writing as a teenager, first expressing herself through poetry and finally parlaying her talent into song. Moving toAtlanta, GA to pursue her education at Spelman College, Ami took 3 years of her life to give what she calls a "normal life" a try. But the connection to her voice was much too strong. Ami became the second "college dropout" from Chicago, proud of her decision and boldy re-entering the industry with a performance of the national anthem at an Atlanta Hawks game. Joining with super prodocuers Sean Clyde and famed production team The Outsyders, Ami began her musical journey back to singer/songwriter status. The result? Hit songs, ReadyGo and Glimmer, eclectic pop expressions . Other producers contributed to the production of her music, and with their help Ami was able to craft an entirely new sound. Now, Ami is poised and ready to take her place at the top of the industry.
