There are few artist today that are truly original. Amiri is undoubtedly one of
them. His sound is truly unique. He ‘s got that old school new school sound. His
hits remind you of the 80s, but has that distinctive techno-hip hop sound of
today. His goal is to bring back fun and creativity to the dance-pop, urban
contemporary music of today.
Amiri is from West Palm Beach, Florida. And left there to attended the Savannah
College of Art and Design to study Illustration and Design. He received his
Masters of Fine Arts at SCAD. As the music goes...
Amiri produces all his own tracks from the music, the vocals, the mixing and
mastering. Amiri explains, “ I want to bring back the originality in pop music. I
want to make people dance with out having to spout off nasty lyrics.” I love to
create music with positive attention-grabbing hooks. That’s the type of music I
like and that’s the type of music I create.
Amiri sound is already well known in the clubs and on the radio stations in
the southeast US.
As a producer, I would like to follow in the footsteps of Pharrell Williams and
Timberland and write and produce songs for the top name pop and R &B acts of
today. I hope people will recognize my sound right away and say Amiri produced
that. The thing that will make me stand out from other producers is that I will
put together an entire package that will include illustrations, graphic design
and photography. Each song tells a story and a good CD or album cover should
illustrate that.
Amiri hopes to partner his record label Sequential Records with a major label
to market and promote his songs. I have an arsenal of radio ready songs but, I
am looking for an outlet to distribute my songs properly.
Amiri comes to the music industry with star quality and marketability. Amiri is a talented vocalist- songwriter, a versatile producer, and amazing dancer as well as a blossoming Visual Artist. Even though I have skills, I know it’s up to my fans to decide if I can truly make a mark in the music industry. I hope I
am someone that the world will want to know.
